CARS BIRTHDAY PARTY

Oggi vi mostro i dettagli della festa a tema CARS che ho organizzato per i 2 anni di Leonardo.

Ho avuto una grande fortuna a trovare la stoffa giusta per lo sfondo e come alzata per la torta ho dipinto una scatola di legno richiamando la bandiera a scacchi (procedura non proprio facile, ma di grande effetto). Ai piedi del tavolo due gomme vere con cerchioni finti (sarebbero stati sicuramente più belli veri, ma poi diventavano pesanti e pericolosi per i bambini).

Sui cavalierini ho voluto usare un po' di vocaboli del settore: pit stop, cambio gomme, paddock, tribuna d'onore. E non poteva mancare il mitico MACK preso gentilmente in prestito da mio figlio (per fortuna l'ha presa bene ;-)).

Today I will show you all the details of the Cars themed party for Leonardo's 2nd birthday.

I have been very lucky to find the right fabric for the backdrop and for the cake-stand I painted a wooden box recalling the checkered flag (not very easy to do, but of great effect). On the ground, resting on the table, two real tires but with fake rims (real rims woul have been of more impact, but to heavy and dangerous for the kids).

On the food labels I used words of the motor racing world: pit stop, tire change, paddock, grandstand. It could not miss the legendary MACK kindly borrowed from my son (thankfully he didn't got angry about it ;-))
